Nov 10 QC Storm hockey homeless veteransThe Quad City Storm’s 2018-2019 inaugural hockey season is bursting with everything new. There are new owners, a league, team name and logo, team President and first-time Coach! Now, in an exciting development for us, QC Storm has set aside 100 great tickets for Humility Homes and Services at $20 per seat for the November 10 game. In return, the Storm will donate $8 to HHSI for each sold ticket!

The Storm is honoring Veterans at the game. After all, Veterans Day is Sunday, November 11. And, November 10 – 18 also is National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week. Learn more at https://hhweek.org/

The Quad City Storm will allow us to host an information table on the Concourse. It’s a wonderful opportunity for us to educate the community on ways we can help end homelessness in the QC, especially among U.S. military veterans and their families.

Let’s have a great turnout. Support the new QC hockey home team. And, at the same time, help end homelessness in all forms in the Quad Cities.

Kwik Shop fundraiser supports Humility of Mary Shelter, Inc.

What a nice surprise the Kwik Shop stores delivered to the Shelter last week! They raised $4262.40 for our Humility of Mary Shelter program to assist adults facing homelessness in the Quad Cities.

And it was a special treat that their district manager Jeremy delivered their assistance to us personally! We welcome visitors who honor our work by coming to visit.
